NCCHP is Excited to Participate in Valley Gives Day on 12.12.13
What is Valley Gives?
It is a one-of-a-kind 24 hour online giving event for local nonprofits taking place in Western Massachusetts on December 10, 2014. Every gift made via online giving on this day has a greater impact as participating nonprofits are eligible for significant cash awards as part of the program. Nonprofits with the most unique donors will be rewarded with special grants from a prize pool of $225,000.
NCCHP is asking that everyone make at least a $12 donation on the 12.10.14 day of giving so we can vie for one of the top participation grants ($5,000, $4,000, or $3,000) in the small nonprofit category. In addition to prizes above, throughout the day donors will be randomly chosen and their gift will be amplified with a “Golden Ticket” adding anywhere from $500 - $1000 in support for their favorite nonprofit. More than 100 different non-profits will receive this bonus throughout the day. !
Who Can Participate?
Any individual may donate. Donations through Valley Gives to nonprofit organizations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and are irrevocable (donations will not be refunded). Contributions may be made by credit and debit card only.
How Do I Make A Donation?
On December 10th, check back here and click on the Donate Now button on our home page, enter the appropriate donation information and you’re done! Simple and easy. Your tax receipt is e-mailed to you immediately by the Razoo Foundation upon successful processing of your donation. To claim a donation as a deduction on your US taxes, please retain your e-mail donation receipt as an official record.
After making your donation, please e-mail, FB or Tweet your friends and family telling them how easy it will be for them to also make a small donation that can help the museum in a very BIG way!
Note that the minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum donation limit. Suggested giving amounts with the programs/events they support will be listed on the donation form. NCCHP will receive your full donation, less a flat rate of 4.9% which covers the cost of credit card processing and Razoo.com fees.
